Was in Miami for work and stumbled across Lots of Lox. Turned out to be a great, low-key, local find. Our breakfast was fantastic...I'd highly recommend the nova, spinach, and onion scramble. The portions were large for the relatively inexpensive price.

A great local deli. Friendly Service. Breakfast is better then dinner. Try the bagels, grits, potatoes, and rye toast.

I have been looking for a good lunch place in the Dadeland area for a long time now. Returning from a trip to the keys my cousin suggested we come here. At first site it just looked like a regular diner nothing special. After getting our menus we started to notice they had pretty much everything on their menu. So we decided to order several different items to try. I had the lamb gyro which I had to fight my boyfriend to keep. He had the breakfast platter my favorite were the pancakes. The home potatoes are a really good side and so are the potatoe cakes. Whatever you order is sure to be good!

Been coming to Lots of Lox for years. Quaint and friendly place, usually no waiting for a table. Breakfasts here are served fast and are delicious. I recommend the eggs Benedict- best I've had in Miami. Also, the grilled pastrami is excellent. If you're looking for something a bit lighter, e oatmeal is great, old fashioned style. Would get five stars but service has sometimes been slow.

Great service. Awesome smoothie. The omelete was fantastic and i agree with others who felt that the home style fries are very good. I definately recommend this place.

Always a delicious breakfast and must-stop spot when I'm in town. Great staff, yum bagels and home fries!

3 people ask if I want coffee before someone brings it. Bagel brought to table almost 10 minutes before the food. Not enough cream cheese for the bagel (I don't think that they counld find a smaller paper cup to put it in). I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. The hash was overcooked and very dry. Not much taste. I have had better out of a can. It is to bad that we can't find a good place for breakfast other than Cracker Barrel in south Dade.

Went here for lunch with a co worker. Good good friendly service, reasonable prices. Being not from Miami, my co worker and I missed one thing after spending over a month here, and it is English language. It might not be a surprise to locals but English language speakers are a rare species in Miami. This place had lots of friendly and loud conversations going on at the same time, and it was all in beautiful English language. Nothing against Spanish, but it gets tiring not hearing the language you love.

Great diner/deli experience. We drive all the way from Coral Gables and it is well worth it. From the amazing customer service to the delicious pancakes! They accommodated us with my infant in a stroller and toddler in a high hair. We ordered the kids pancakes for my daughter and the waitress was nice enough to ask if I would like powdered sugar on them (how they come but not mentioned on menu) - that alone is aces in my book. Can't beat this place for a great breakfast!!

We enjoyed the restaurant. The ambiance is very cheerful and it is an authentic jewish deli. They serve large portions. The grits were amazing! If you go you must try the grits. This was the best part of our meal. The nova was delicious too.

This is a decent neighborhood for a simple bagel and cream cheese to a full fl edge breakfast and now dinner, if you are on the south end. The sandwiches are straight New York Deli style with a mountain of meat. I personally eat half and save the other half for later. The Pastrami and Corn Beef was my sandwich of choice this time. I look forward to returning soon. I was impressed by my waitress, who knew most of her customers. It did however take them an exorbitant amount of time to bring my sandwich, which lowered there star count from 4 stars to 3.

one of the few "deli's" left in Miami. Decent bagels, good non-pretentious meals. Hidden in corner of strip mall, nothing fancy but solid on the food. Huge menu with good daily specials. May be difficult to narrow your selection down.

Delicious and fast! You have to get there early for breakfast on the weekends unless you are OK with waiting for a table. But after you are seated, you are quickly attended to and ordering is a breeze with all your usual breakfast options plus a couple specials to choose from.

This neighborhood gem has been around for what feels like forever, and they know what they're doing. Sometimes we'll go in and split the lox platter (which is too big for me to eat on my own anyway), or I'll get two eggs, sliced tomatoes and a bagel. So yummy. I've never had a bad meal here...we'll normally go for breakfast or lunch. We always have the same servers, they remember customers really easily I guess and can usually remember what we ordered the previous time we'd been in there, which is impressive.

Great food and service! Went with my mother for a mid-week late breakfast and we both had specials. I had a feta and spinach omelet with home fries, bagel with cream cheese and coffee. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge! We could have easily shared. The service was outstanding! My coffee was constantly refilled without having to ask. The place is very clean and it was clear that is is frequented by regulars. There is also a deli, but I didn't get around to taking a good look. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Omelette, Bagel and Cream Cheese, potatoes and coffee and kibbitzing with friends and family-no better place in the Falls area for breakfast. Deli sandwiches for lunch are big. I love taking friends and out of town family members to show them the last great deli in the area-service staff is attentive and friendly. Wouldnt think to eat anywhere else for great deli.

Oh how I do love a good breakfast. Out of all meals, I must say breakfast is by far my favorite. This place has so many options to choose from. They have a variety of bagels and pair it with just about anything. I wanted to try that bagel that has salmon on it but I was boring and picked pancakes. I know I know, but boy I was craving a good pancake and I got one. Pretty big and so fluffy. We all got boring dishes but those boring dishes was pretty awesome! I will def make my way here again. It gets pretty packed so be sure to have some patience. The customer service is awesome and I just cant wait to go back. Thinking about this place makes me want to go now.

This is just one of those "I can't get enough of" mom & pop places down the street...Some of us "Kendall people" refuse to drive an hour to have a fabulous brunch every weekend. But we do not need that because of little gems like this one! Do not let it fool you, the portions are big, like old-school diner type big and they have bold flavors and plenty of combinations including a fresh bagel with pretty much all the breakfast dishes. Service is fast but perhaps that harms them in the sense that you feel a bit rushed to put your order in (this is why I took off a star) but you can count on someone always coming by offering you coffee refills the whole time you are there- too bad I don't drink the stuff (yes.. I know, a Colombian that doesn't drink coffee?? wth!) I had the smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries and everything bagel- I was so full I barely touched the home fries but that bagel though- hmm hmm hmm The place is a bit of a madhouse if you go on a weekend but I love to people watch so if you are like that too, just sit back and enjoy. For 3 of us, If I recall correctly it was just about $40- so you do the math. Good prices, plenty of food = perfect way to start your Saturday.

Yes, yes, yes I would definitely recommend! This place was GREAT, I can't believe I didn't know about it. It has the homey diner feel and was packed with people. The staff was efficient and we got in after about a 10 minute wait. The waitress was very upbeat and friendly. The menu was huge! I loved all the choices and found stuff on that menu I haven't seen since living in New York. We order an EGG CREAM (love them! just so hard to find in South Florida), chocolate chip/strawberry waffles (tasty and soft), bagel with lox spread (awesome), eggs Benedict (I don't know who poached their eggs, but they have skill! fluffy and thick, awesome sauce, and I really liked the Canadian bacon), and home fries (normally I'm not a fan of home fries, but I loved the seasoning and how soft the potato chunks were. not starchy or hard like I've experienced at a number of other restaurants)! As you can see I ordered more breakfasty, diner type foods. There were mixed reviews by people who ordered deli, but based on my experience great, great food! The attentive wait staff is what also pushed this rating to a 5. Besides our waitress, one man immediately asked us our drink order, another gentleman was walking around with coffee refills, and a third man cleared off empty plates! Honestly, I have never had this good of an experience with wait staff. I'll definitely recommend and can't wait to go back !!!

After living a few streets away from this place for over two decades, I finally made my way to Lots of Lox today with my family. Although our server was friendly and the service was quick, I was not particularly impressed with the quality of the food given the high ratings I had seen from Yelp. My parents ordered sandwiches which only came stacked with salty meats, with no other ingredients in between the bread to temper the taste. I ordered a lox eggs benedict and found the sauce to be too heavy and the lox taste nearly indistinguishable. My sister's sausage egg croissant also proved to be overpoweringly cheesy. If your palate is one that favors salty protein and heapings of grease, you may enjoy Lots of Lox. I am unlikely to return after feeling like I had essentially consumed more grams of fat in one meal than if I had gone to a local fast food joint.

It was finally Monday, February 2, the day after my wedding, and nothing was going to stand between me and a beautiful bagel topped with cream cheese and nova. I'd waited a long time (30+ Days) for that meal, and nothing would stand in my way! I walked into Lots of Lox, a little bleary eyed from a late night, quietly found a seat with some friends who were there for our wedding brunch, and was immediately greeted by a server, brought a coffee, had my order taken. My food showed up in what seemed to be mere moment after. When the plate landed in front of me, I was in heaven. There was a crusty, toasted onion bagel (out of everythings :( ), delicately hand sliced pieces of rich nova, a scoop of cream cheese, thinly and thinly sliced tomato. There was so much nova on the plate that I chose to scoop the bagel to give me more surface area to put it all on. That done, I prepped the scooped bagel to exacting specifications. A precise layer of schmear, every inch of it covered in a tender orange blanket of nova crowned with a half a slice of tomato and a few pieces of raw onion, and a sprinkle of pepper. After I ate each half, I asked for more tomato and then did the same thing on the pieces of scooped bagel... And maybe half of my friends bagel too! What a perfect end to an amazing weekend. The food was great, the service perfect, and in between saying good by to everyone that came to my wedding, I was able to enjoy my experience.

This is the quintessential Jewish deli-- except it's run by Greeks. So now you get the best of both worlds! You can have their amazing matzoh ball soup AND get a gyro platter too! What the what?!?! Does a deli get better than this? No, I don't think so. The owners are brothers Stevie and Nik, and their cousin Jimmy. These guys are a class act, super personable and know how to run a good restaurant. You'll see them running around during busy hours, making sure they're doing anything and everything for the restaurant to run smoothly. I love seeing owners not only working, but working hard. The servers are the best and have rated with this company for 20+ years. If that isn't a testament to solid business practices, I don't know what is. The food... Sah good. Try one of their omelettes, they have about 5 eggs in them and definitely don't get cheap with the ingredients. Their cucumber salad is possibly the best I've ever had. Also, the egg salad, chicken salad and tuna salad can't be beat. My all time favorite is the Rachel with turkey pastrami. It'll make you wanna slap your momma!

Excellent friendly staff and the food is excellent. I've been coming here for almost 2 years and the service is always consistent the coffee is always hot and the staff makes you feel right at home. They have a very inexpensive breakfast during the weekday and Sunday's its usually pretty busy for breakfast.

I like Lots of Lox. I think their food is good but quite overpriced. I am a fan of the chopped liver sandwiches, chive sour cream omelette and bagels with nova and cream cheese. My husband fancies the pastrami sandwiches. I think the place does so well because there is very little competition. I go to Lots of Lox when I want to treat myself because it's always expensive.

I was a bit apprehensive after some of the reviews I read about going or not , but I decided to give this place a shot with my family and I am so happy I did! First of all my impression of the place was amazing . It was fully packed yet the waiters were very attentive of us , they straightaway arrived and asked which drinks we wanted . Later on we had a lovely waitress attending to us , she helped us with picking the order , came to check on our table and refill our drinks . Despite the restaurant being fully packed I had not felt a shred of neglect from the service . Now to the most important part, the food!! As a big fan of Salmon I ordered the Eggs Benedict with lox , and sweet potato fries on the side , the meal was delicious but the salmon was not made in the way I like with the eggs Benedict so I went ahead and ordered a Salmon lox bagel. Super delicious !!! I haven't had such a nice meal in a very long time and although the place is pricy , I thought it was well worth it. My husband and father in law ordered a dessert of Waffle with strawberry and bananas , whipped cream on the top and almonds . Excellent dish. We had to pay 90.00$ dollars which, to me , was the only fault because there were a lot of extra charges that I wasn't aware that they were going to charge me extra for that . (For example the Almonds on the waffles were an extra 1-2 dollars) (the blueberry in the pancakes , another extra 1-2 dollars) Overall, I loved this place , will come again but I will take better care of what I order and if those extras will cost more .

An authentic Jewish gem hidden in a shopping center at the heart of palmetto bay. The coffee is always hot, the food is always good & the service is always friendly. If you like Lox, well this is the place to go. Lox, however is a little too salty for me. I prefer Nova & boy oh boy do they have deliciously fresh & thinly sliced Nova here. If you like like cream cheese & you like chives make sure you get it with your bagel of choice, it is great. Now let's talk lunch. The Reuben here is amazing. Thinly sliced meats piled high topped with a delicious sauce and packed between two freshly baked & toasted slices of rye bread. Whether you have a craving for Jewish food or you're looking to try it for the first time, this is the place to go.

Delicious bagels to go! The nova, cream cheese and bagel were really good. However the place is kind of disorganized. I took a menu. I would get to-go here again.

Very good food and friendly service. Their deli sandwiches are stacked with meat, and the quality of meat is excellent. The service can go either way depending on who you get to take your order. Their bagels are not the best, but they don't make them on premises, so they lose their freshness.

First timers and had a great experience. Fast service, waiters attention is normal but the food is really good. My husband had the Combo Rueben, wow, the best he has tried. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Lox, the sauce was perfect. Good portions too. People in the area loves this place, it was full. The waiting time was only around 15min. Worth the wait.

If you're a deli, you should probably have the bread situation figured out. Sadly, this place doesn't. I'm a simple girl and sometimes just want a plain bagel with cream cheese. How difficult is it to get that right? I've never had such a horrible bagel in my life. Stale, dry, cold.... I didn't know it was possible to mess up a bagel so badly. It doesn't stop there. We also ordered biscuits with country gravy. The biscuits were hard and tasted odd. I might've just let it go except the service was also bad. And, in my book, there's nothing worse than bad service at a restaurant. Our waitress was dry and rude. When my order came, it had the wrong flavor of cream cheese so I requested it be corrected. She argued with me and practically tossed the replacement at me when she brought it. I imagine they must do something right because other people have had good experiences, but I won't be returning to find out.

The food was at least as good as, say, Wagon's West in Pinecrest. This is a better option, though, if you're looking for more Jewish-style menu items. I've only been here the one time, but on that particular visit, service was attentive, yet cold. That's fine with me, though. I'd rather have someone who refills my coffee and doesn't smile about it than someone who's really chipper but never comes by the table.

I ate here twice, both times to get some breakfast, which they will serve all day. The food was great, & the service was friendly & attentive. At one point, the manager noticed we were cold so he immediately shut off the fans above us & changed the thermostat on the AC. That my fellow Yelpers is how you please your customers! Will I return again? YES :) Pics Uploaded

The food is amazing, it looks very casual from the outside and in the inside but the food is delicious. Service is fast and the workers are nice to the customers. Overall one of the best places I have found for both breakfast and lunch. Bagels are just like authentic New York style with a crunchy crust....hard to find here in Miami! The cheese blintzes are delicious and the home fries!

Horrible take out service forgot half of my order because the clerk was too busy talking to another waitress about who she was dating. When I called for a credit she said you should check your own order? My fault asked for the owner to call me back never did and never will I be back.

It was my boyfriend and I's first time stopping in here. The outside was not particularly inviting but the inside is homey and the owner welcomed us immediately and got us seated at a table promptly. The staff was very welcoming as well and we got our coffee the moment we sat down (very good coffee might I add). Our waitress was attentive and the owner stopped by our table several times to check on us. The special is a great deal- 2 eggs, potatoes, a bagel, and coffee for only 6.95 (add bacon or sausage for a buck more). Portion size was great , the bagel could have been fresher but that is my only complaint. Very well managed restaurant with yummy home cooked food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went here with my husband for the first time on a weekend for brunch and though the food was good, maybe even great, the service left much to be desired. First of all, there were a TON of wait staff, and yet somehow I didn't get milk for my coffee until we were about to walk out the door. I think that may have been a product off having too many staff with an undeclared purpose. One person took our drink order, another our food order and another one finally brought me the milk. I also never appreciate hearing about the local high school drama as the hostess chit chats with the other teenage wait staff. No, thank you. As I said, the food was great. The pickled cucumber salad was awesome as was the omelette. We'll be back, but my expectations will be lower.

Service is great. You better come in hungry here because they serve a lot of food. It's not the healthiest but it tastes very good. Service is fast, reliable and friendly. I try to stop by for breakfast or lunch at least once a month.

Really friendly staff. It's a good ol' deli place. The food is good. We just had breakfast and the price is decent for the amount of you food you get. If you're craving a good breakfast at an old fashion deli then come here

If you are looking for an atmosphere that imitates a NY deli, this is a good place to go. The menu is not as extensive as other delis in the area but its a nice to place to go to grab some breakfast or lunch. I had the French Dip which was really good. They start you off with these cucumbers that looked weird so I didn't try them. Then the sandwich came and it was really tasty. The au jus was a bit salty so I didn't dip as much. The fries were ok. Staff was very nice and quick.

We come every Sunday if we can for breakfast. The epitome of service. They make you feel at home. Coffee is constantly being refilled. Drinks are served the moment you sit down. Bagels are made delicious and fresh every day. Eggs are delicious. Sides are delicious. The lox spread is very well worth the extra pr$2. Prices are reasonable as well. They just don't do anything wrong here. Flip ihop the bird and ride over to lots of lox. You'll thank me later. Lots of elderly regulars. It's a cute place.

Dropped in for the first time for breakfast on a Saturday morning with relatives to a noisy crowded room. The food was typical of better commercial restaurants in South Florida where few decent restaurants/delis remain these days and where often the servings are meagre and priced over-the-top. This was a pretty good deli all around and prices were fair enough for this part of the world. So, comparatively speaking, the deli was a happy find. That said, there's always something cheap and sleazy about much of South Florida; it even shows up at classic places like the Biltmore in Coral Gables and the Gables in Palm Beach, so only time will tell whether the "Original Lots of Lox" can maintain its "quality" and survive hard economic times. The deli's stuck in a far corner of a strip mall along the Dixie Highway with tiny outdoor signage but worth the effort finding.

Had breakfast here and it was awesome...fresh warm pastrami is always a winner in my book. Probably one of the few places in Miami that offers an egg cream too! Yummy! The service was good and super attentive staff.

It was good food. The bagels were not good, very tough and seemed like an afterthought to the actual deli. The meal was good and seemed fresh enough, though nothing spectacular. Everything seemed this way: decent, hearty, but not spectacular. What made it a just okay experience was the atmosphere. It was very crowded and there was a long wait. Our waitress was very nice and the food didn't take long to come out but I felt more like a dairy cow being ushered in and out than a guest. If you're looking for a diner experience this is exactly it, with reliably hearty food. Their specials were interesting and probably unlike (and better) than other diners. I'd go back if someone insisted but it's not the first (or second, or third..) choice for the future.

Stopped by at around 7am on a Sunday. Picked up a dozen bagels and a fair amount of nova (smoked salmon). Looking at the reviews on yelp I was expecting fresh great tasting bagels and salmon. What I got was anything but. The bagels were pretty hard for being freshly baked, and the everything bagels were extremely salty. The salmon was also nothing to write home about, I've had much better store bought. I think I'll stick with my old time favorites for now on and go to bagel emporium and outrageous bagels for quality bagels and shmear. 2 stars based purely on the friendly service, I'd skip this venue.

Great local Jewish Deli, breakfast, and lunch spot. Located in a strip mall on 152 and US1. They have awesome breakfast and lunch dishes as well Jewish Favorites. My favs are for breakfast I get the 3 egg omelet with ham, onions, and provolone cheese. It comes with a bagel or toast and your choice of grits or potato. For lunch I Love their Corned Beef Reuben with light Sauerkraut sliced thin. They also make a good French Onion and Matzoh Ball Soup. The restaurant is kept clean and has plenty of tables and parking.

I've been going to Lots of Lox with my family since I was a little kid and it never disappoints. Food: There's a plethora of options, and yes, breakfast is always served. Breakfast all day is a MUST for me. The grits are the best I've ever had- buttery goodness. We often get the tuna sandwich and load it with Hebrew NAtional mustard...yum! The portions are decently large as well. Wait staff: The waitresses have been there for years, so they know well the clientele. They are all sweathearts. Wait time: If you go during the weekend rush hour, the wait is usually no more than 20 minutes. Other than during that time period, the is usually no wait time. MUST GO!

When you've got to name your establishment ORIGINAL Lots of Lox, that says something and slightly adds some hype, to be, well, original. My expectations did not soar. As a quick visit inside to peek around this tiny hole-in-the-wall, I wasn't quite impressed. I decided to order to-go, wondering whether I will be coming back. Staff was super friendly, the customers inside early in the am, you could tell were all regulars. I chose a bagel and lox spread and was surprised by the large portion size (and high price for a breakfast item). I only ate half, wished the price and size could have been less - and realized quickly, I could have made this at home, nothing spectacular at all. This place is out of the way for me, but I suppose if you live in the area and are in search of a good breakfast diner place, this could be it. I haven't tried the hot & toasty menu items, and based on the reviews - that may be where they specialize. But bagels & lox, I'd pass if I were you.

Lots of Lox is a South Dade institution. If you live south of Kendall Drive, and east of Useless 1, odds are decent that you go to this place for breakfast every now and again. Its "institution" status is well-deserved. It's too bad lox is so shockingly salty. I always want to order lox when I come here (how could you not, at a deli called "Lots of Lox?"), but to me it tastes like a cup of seawater. While I love smoked salmon, I just don't "get" lox. It should be noted that the nova is slightly less salty, so if you have your heart set on smoked fish, but don't want lox-like levels of saltiness, that's an option. Luckily, pretty much everything else here makes for the perfect breakfast. Ample coffee (this is important), and the bagels have just about no room for further improvement - little crunchy on the outside, light-yet-chewy on the inside. Omelets in whatever combinations you want, grits or taters on the side. Now that's a breakfast that will set your day up right. I've never been here for lunch, as I prefer to set up shop here early on Sunday mornings with a newspaper, but I hear it's also worthwhile.

Been there three times in last 4 weeks or so. First time for breakfast, second for lunch and third for breakfast. First two times were pretty decent. Not as great as I remember Deli in NY or NJ but pretty good and better than the other place on S dixie in the 90s. But this time there was hair in my hash browns. Nothing disgusts me more than someone hair in my food. (unless it is my cats, then I forgive them) So I would have given 3 or even 4 stars, but hair in the food is a big no no. I should have sent it back but I was half done. They also buttered my toast when I asked for it to be dry, and it tasted like it was buttered with margarine, which is pretty gross and super unhealthy. I think it will be a while before I visit again.

Best reuben I've had in Miami(order the rachel with half corned beef half pastrami). A potato salad you'll actually want to eat. Nice option for breakfast or brunch with lots of classic menu items. Simple food, fast friendly service, all in a casual diner/deli type atmosphere.

This is a nice alternative to the popular place further north on us1 in pinecrest. Prices for most items are cheaper. Decent and friendly service. Cole slaw was a little bland but the complimentary cute salad was tasty.

If you find yourself this side south of Miami, definitely stop here for a great Sunday brunch. Once you sit you are quickly asked what you would like to drink...and it comes to the table just as fast. It's no frills, just good old deli favorites. I ventured out and tried the Nova Scramble: Nova Smoked Salmon, Scrambled eggs and sauteed Onion. Served with a side of Home Fries, this is a hearty, delicious, bold-flavored dish. Now I'm not a dainty woman, but even this is a biiig plate for me. At times it can be on the salty side, but that's smoked salmon for ya. If I'm in the mood for a more subtle meal I just go for the two eggs and home fries- Never fails, it is delicious. All the plates are a good size helping- I guess that's the home-style coming out. Makes me wonder why more restaurants don't have this comfort feel to them. Whenever I order a breakfast plate and dig in, I always get the urge to do a little dance in my seat...does anyone else do that when you eat something good!? Okay, maybe I'm just weird with my food, whatever. ;p I like the people here too- servers and cashiers are, dare I say, "normal" -They treat you like you've known them all your life- now that's service! At the register they have a few packaged items to take home with you, some rugala that has been calling my name will soon be in my possession one of these days- and there are a few other foods I have seen and am curious to try... It's always fresh. The home fries are superb. Oh, and ask for the Cucumber Salad- It's crisp, perfectly seasoned with dill and onion....I catch myself craving those tangy slices of goodness.... ahhhh, until next Sunday.

Average deli food with above average prices. Service is ok if not at meal time. At lunch, you're not going to get very good service as they seem to understaff. They do take out as well (meats and specialty items) and have some assorted desert type items as well.

We actually stumbled on this place after searching for a breakfast/brunch location on Yelp after hitting up a local farmer's market. Glad we did! Although I don't think Lots of Lox is the most delicious breakfast spot in Miami, it's pretty good. I had the eggs benedict and the hubs had their special feta/ham omelet. Both were decent, but nothing to write home about. What I really loved were the side dishes: their home fries and grits. Those were absolutely yummy and worth coming back for a second visit, along with the service, which was great and warm.

OK, for a Jewish Deli in South Miami. They win. Quick wait, very attentive serice by all staff there, and diner presentable food. The bialey was more like a dense bagel (for those of you confused they are two very different items). My simple eggs, bacon, and tomato is a hard one to mess up and it was fine. Not to mention SUPER LARGE PANCACKES! I adored that while you wait there is complimentary coffee at the door, nice touch!

Had a Saturday morning breakfast here with wife and kids and it was top notch. Eggs, bagel, sausage, and pancakes were all great. Gave the kids coloring supplies and accommodated us with a stroller. I just wish they had one in the Gables to show them how it's done.

Haven't had much in the way of breakfast here yet...but I have stopped by here a few times quite early in the morning and I've picked up some of their delicious bagels and cream cheeses. These are some of the best bagels I've had in Miami...they are probably the closest I can find that would compare to New York bagels. Their vegetable cream cheese is excellent, it's a must have. I've had a variety of their Rugala and they are all phenomenal. The place has a great looking deli section (which I have yet to try anything from it yet) full of all kinds of goodies. I think I'm gonna come here one morning and have a nice sit down breakfast when I'm not in such a hurry because I really want to experience everything they have to offer.

4.5 Stars! I had brunch here a couple of weekends ago and was just in heaven. Thought I had done my review, but better late than never!!! From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by the employees. It was super busy when I was there, and the host (who was seating someone else) immediately took note of our presence and said he would be right with us to seat us and give us menus. Nice customer service! We were quickly seated and handed our menus, and before I could even open it, the waitress was there to take our drink orders... Coffee and water to start with please! There were tons of choices for breakfast on the menu, even though it was already 1:00 by the time we made it to breakfast. So many choices we ordered 3 breakfasts for the 2 of us! HAHAH I had the 2 egg breakfast that came with home fries and bacon and toast. SO YUMMY. And then we ordered the French Toast to share. WOW, that's the biggest, fluffiest french toast i've ever had! This place was a definite WIN in my book and if I didn't live so far, it would be a regular brunch spot! :) Can't say much about their lunch food, but I heard the Deli is amazing! :)

Great local restaurant with amazing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Customer Service is excellent. Ambience could bebetter.

Food here is typical old time dinner food. They don't use local fresh produce (mushroom soup is made with canned mushrooms) which is a real shame. Plates are loaded with way to much food, but I'm guessing the locals (over 50s)like it that way, because there is always a crowd there. Staff is very friendly.

Service sucks. Went for lunch, placed order, while waiting another couple were seated next to us they ordered, they got their food, still waiting. 30 minutes after sitting there still no food. Walked out and on way out complained to owner who didn't seem to care. We stopped going there when under previous ownership for same reason. New owners seemed to improve the place but déjà vue. Cross this one off our list. Again.

If you are in this neighborhood, this is a great place to try. The people were nice. A little abrupt but who is not around here? It is family-owned which makes me an immediate fan! It's comfy and family-oriented. They made a nice egg sandwich too! I was not a lover of the bagels but the egg salad was really great. The tuna salad was too sweet for me.

This place was great. My boyfriend and I were here on Saturday for lunch. They are open until 4 pm. The service was great we were seated immediately given menus and our drink orders were taken. My boyfriend ordered a turkey melt I ordered the corned beef sandwich and a matzo ball soup. The soup was great not too salty, but was very flavorful. The corned beef was delicious. My boyfriend's turkey melt was great too. The turkey was roasted in house sliced and put together with swiss cheese Russian dressing on rye. Both sanwiches were available with potato salad or coleslaw. Big were great the potato salad was tangy and creamy and the coleslaw was perfect not too creamy but prety much perfect. They bring to the table a cucumber sala which was awesome very fresh. Over all this family owned place had great service with great food at reasonable prices. Everything is very fresh and made in-house.

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. There are a nice variety of breakfast and lunch dishes on the menu. I decided to have the lunch special--a bowl of soup and half a sandwich. The soup was chicken noodle soup. It was ok, but I've had better. It tasted like it was flavored with bullion cubes. They served it with bagel chips, which was nice. My sandwich was turkey on rye. The turkey was fresh and the rye bread very good. It was served with a side of cole slaw or potato salad. I had the cole slaw and it was fine. My guest ordered a lean corned beef sandwich on rye. The corned beef was good but it was not lean. This is an ok place to grab lunch but it's not nearly as good as Roasters 'n Toasters.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick lunch on the weekend and the place was packed. It is definitely a come-as-you-are establishment which is quite comforting when you don't care how you look and only want a good sandwich and soup. We had the chicken noodle soup, which is made in-house, and it was quite good. I would have like a little more carrot but the broth was nice and rich and the noodles plentiful. My husband had cole slaw (yummy and not doused in mayo) and a corned beef on rye while I had a tuna salad on white toast. Just plain old good stuff. It was a mad house with crying babies but we weren't bothered. The server was cute and efficient and got everything just right. We'll definitely return.

Let me start by saying that I don't know a damned thing about any smoked fish, whether Lox, Nova, or Whitefish. I do know good bagles and deli sandwiches, and Lots of Lox has great ones. They are tucked away in the corner or a strip mall on the North East corner of US 1 and SW 152 Street. There is nothing fancy about this place, but its perfect if you want a good, casual breakfast or lunch.

Lots of Lox is and has always been a place for a great meal. This New York style deli has been around for over 30 years and is still serving great food whether you want breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is clear that Lots of Lox has many regulars, and the servers know them by name. This speaks volumes about their level of customer service and hospitality. The portions are plentiful and you will never leave feeling hungry. Great food and great service have made me a return customer. Try it and you will be one too!

We went to OLoL for breakfast last Sunday based on Yelp recommendations. Way to go yelpers! The OLoL was awesome. It seemed like most of the people in there were regulars and the service was pretty decent. My wife had some sort of feta and spinach omelet that she is still talking about a week later. I had my customary bacon and eggs with home fries. Both meals came with a bagel and cream cheese. My only complaint is they didn't have very good coffee. But aside from that everything seemed spot on.

I was debating on giving it 4 or 5 stars because it's kind of expensive for what it is. However, the service is really good, they serve a nice, big portion, and it's really good. The food also came out really fast. It's the kind of place where if you go in often enough the staff will learn your name and even your usual order.

I love this place! The food is so yummy; my favorite sandwich is the Pastrami Rachel, and the cucumber salad they give for appetizer is so good. Totally worth it for lunch... they also just recently opened for dinner hours (which is awesome). They have pretty good cookies, too, and the service is great. Everyone is always very friendly and willing to talk. It does get pretty busy sometimes, but if you think about it, that's a clear sign about the food!

My boyfriend and I found this place and decided to try it. I LOVE IT you see regulars in here all the time and I am one of them. Staff is really nice and helpful and you always see them eating the food so that is a good sign! Turkey Pastrami on Kaiser is my favorite and the cheese blintz for breakfast with whip cream and strawberries are awesome!
